To achieve maximum energy efficiency or a leap to a higher energy efficiency class, we have built a heat pump unit into classic electric water heaters. The wall-mounted heat pump achieves a coefficient of performance (COP) of 3, which means that compared to a classic electric water heater, it consumes three times less electricity. Thanks to its small dimensions, the heat pump can be installed anywhere where a classic electric water heater was previously used. The device retains all the good properties of an electric water heater, while offering significant savings in electricity, characteristic of heat pumps. The device is also designed for wall mounting, which increases the functionality of the space.
